The Weeknd to release new 2013 album

The Weeknd - real name Abel Tesfaye - took to twitter to announce the release of his 2013 album. The 22 year old posted a close up image of his computer desktop which featured two folders titled '2013 untitled album' and '2013 art work'.

The currently untitled album will follow his 2012 debut 'Trilogy' - an album comprised of remastered versions of the Canadian R&B star's three critically acclaimed mixtapes 'House Of Balloons', 'Thursday' and 'Echoes Of Silence' as well as treating fans to three brand new tracks.

Fast gaining in popularity, the R&B sensation, is set to take 2013 by storm with not only his sophomore album to look forward to but a long awaited UK tour too along with a string of festival dates, which are yet to be announced. Tesfaye will take to the stage in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow, wowing audiences with his incredible vocal range.
